Compare Spring Valley High School with other teams

Spring Valley enters its fifth year of competition still looking for its first postseason victory. The Grizzlies lost to Cheyenne the past two years in the regional quarterfinals.

Kelly Murphy, a Colorado transplant, enters his first year at the helm of the program.

"The first thing I wanted to do when I came in was install a lunch-pail work ethic," Murphy said.

Spring Valley is led by senior lineman Nate Holloway, one of the area's top college prospects, and linebacker Tom Krysztof, who recorded 89 tackles and four sacks last year.
