Letter to the editor:
Time to clean house in corporate America
Thu, Nov 20, 2008 (2:01 a.m.)
All corporations that have or want to receive money from our government have to remove all chief executives without golden parachutes. All new chief executives can’t make more than the president of the United States. No perks, etc., until their corporations are in the black.
We have to stop rewarding greed and thievery.
All congressmen who do not go along with this should be impeached, because they are part of the financial problem.

Locally owned and independent for more than 50 years.

And why do the people in the Senate and Congress go along with this greed, it is only because they consistantly receive back handers from the industries in question. Greed greed greed
Greed is fine if the only course for being greedy is to get people to voluntarily cooperate with you.
If you can get government involved, greed can do some awful things.
