Two Dumpster fires reported to police

On Nov. 7, a resident in the 600 block of Seventh Street reported that someone broke into her vehicle. There was no damage and nothing appeared to be missing.
On Nov. 7, Officer Sandin responded to the 1200 block of Old Highway 95 to a report of a burglary. The employee reported that someone entered a building and stole some tools.
On Nov. 7, a resident in the 1100 block of Mariposa Way called to report that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence. There was no damage and nothing appeared to be missing.
On Nov. 7, Officer Woolsey responded to the lobby of the Boulder City Police Department to meet with a citizen. The citizen, who resides on the 1200 block of Palmero Way, told the officer that his area is "becoming scary." The citizen resident left without providing further details.
On Nov. 8, Officer Sandin responded to the 1300 block of Denver Street to a report of a burglary. The resident advised that someone entered a garage and stole a furniture hutch valued at about $200.
On Nov. 8, Sgt. Perkins and Officers Ford, Olson and Case responded to the 1300 block of Darlene Way to a report of a person with a weapon. Witnesses told officers that an intoxicated male was waving a handgun and threatening a group of juveniles. Officers located the male and a 9mm handgun. The male told officers he was being harassed by juveniles. The male was arrested and the handgun was booked into evidence.
On Nov. 9, Sgt. Jennings and Officers Wibrew and Richner responded to the 800 block of Avenue B to a report of arson. An unknown person(s) set fire to a Dumpster.
On Nov. 9, Officer Wibrew responded to the 1400 block of Marita Court to a report of arson. An unknown person(s) set fire to a Dumpster.
On Nov. 12, Officer Woolsey responded to the lobby of the Boulder City Police Department to a report of grand larceny. The victim reported that someone stole a credit card and purchased goods valued at about $1,000.
