Meeting to focus on zoning boundaries
The Attendance Zone Advisory Committee will hold a public input meeting at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 20 at the Education Center Board Room to discuss proposals that would change the attendance boundary for the 2009-2010 school year for Coronado, Libery, Silverado, Foothill and Green Valley High Schools.
The changes would affect incoming freshman, current freshman and current sophomores.

Silvestri to hold first Turkey Trot
Silvestri Middle School will hold its first Turkey Trot event from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 22 on the grass field.
The event will include raffles and prizes. Every lap around the field will earn one raffle ticket and prizes will be given out every 15 minutes.
Participants are asked to bring new or gently used blankets and jackets for local homeless shelters.
Green Valley grad named AP scholar
Green Valley High School 2008 graduate Natalie Wolch has been awarded the state AP Scholar award.
The award is granted to one male and one female student in each state with a grade of 3 or higher on the greatest number of AP exams and the highest GPA on AP exams taken.
Wolch took 11 AP exams and averaged a score of 4.45.
Henderson resident receives master's
Henderson resident John Michael Vecchio graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio with a Master of Science degree in criminal justice.
BGSU graduated nearly 1,300 students from 35 states and 28 countries.
