FLASHPOINT:
Harry Reid’s hidden message
Sat, Nov 15, 2008 (2:01 a.m.)
You have to admire the graciousness of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, cutting a PSA for Spanish TV stations that has him talking to the camera with Spanish captions. It’s a thank-you to the Hispanic electorate that turned out in record numbers and voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama. “Nevada’s Latino community was front and center,” Reid says, “rallying at the polls, helping to decide our nation’s future. Your involvement makes our democracy strong and I thank you for your strong commitment.” What Reid didn’t say in his sincere thank-you to the Latino community was: “I hope that commitment carries over to 2010 when many important races will be on the ballot and I — I mean they — will need your help.” Beautiful.

Now if Republicans can bump the Minute Men coalition out and go after Latinos by demonstrating to them that big government is exactly the thing that kept them down in Central and South America...
And to think they used to do closed captioning in ENGLISH so the poor americans who are deaf could still watch and enjoy tv :(
azsk8fan, you should get a digital TV converter so you can get closed captioning for all your shows.
