FLASHPOINT:

Such insight from Nevadans

Sat, Aug 30, 2008 (2:01 a.m.)

Such insight from Nevadans on the day Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a person I am sure they know about as well as John McCain knows her, was picked to be on the GOP ticket. Sen. John Ensign: “Gov. Palin’s conservative reform credentials are rock solid and makes clear what we can expect from a McCain administration.” I am sure he could cite those credentials before Friday. On the other side, Rep. Shelley Berkley: “While I respect Sarah Palin, who is the first female governor of Alaska, she and John McCain offer more of the same, not the change we need.” Change we need? It reads as if the campaigns actually plugged those words in all their mouths and those are not original thoughts. That’s not possible, right?

Discussion: 1 comment so far…

  1. Obama has been running hard against Bush, but so far polls show that it not working.

Obama is lagging well behind the generic REP-DEM polling gap.

Of course McCain is running against Obama, and that is the only reason the race is tight.

For Berkley to pair Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with Bush, as no change, is more of the same failed strategy.
