Biden gives shout-out to Reid

Joe Biden speaks at DNC

Sun Expanded Coverage

(The Sun has gone on the road to listen to voters and talk to political leaders around the West. Reporters have been examining the economic, cultural and demographic forces re-shaping the region as they drove to Denver for the first of the two major party conventions the Sun will cover. This week they are at the Democratic National Convention.)

VP nominee took to the stage and, if I heard right, just gave a shout-out to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid spotted on the floor.

That's what happens when members from the club of 100 are running for the executive branch.

Yep. Confirmed. Biden gives another verbal nod to "Harry" as he leaves the stage, and Reid is flashed on the arena TV screen.

UPDATE: Biden just came to the floor to greet Reid with a hug.

  1. Kind of reminds you of Howard Dean. Some of these guys just get soooo excited they finally have a moment in the sun after trying to get on stage for 30 years. If Harry Reid is HIS hero, he sure shouldn't be ours. Harry has personally put us in a recession nearing a depression with his blind following of Nancy Pelosi and the San Fransisco elite to ruin this states economy

  2. Neiman1

Did you ever have an argument with yourself? I suppose it would be full of non-sequitor statements like "You eat pancakes with blueberry syrup" and "The New Your Jets ARE NOT your team".

Get a life. Get your facts straight.

    Get a clue.

  3. Hey, Harry! Hello, Joe! Yuck, yuck...look at me struttin around up here...

They're two good ol' boys from the ol' boys network.

After the primary/convention debacle, we've been reminded that a woman will never be accepted in the Democrat Old Boys Club.

To Gov. Palin, I say "you go girl!"
To the GOP, I say "THANKS!"
